A charming modern hotel officially rated as 3 star superior, situated at a height of 600 metres and approximately 500 metres from the centre of Barlovento. From this location you can enjoy fabulous views of the sea and the marvellous summit. The hotel comprises of a main building and a annexe, each of which have 3 floors. There are a total of 44 rooms, 3 of which are elegant suites and 9 “junior” suites. We hold the silver medal for tourism for the years 1990 and 1993. Situated in the north of the Island La Palma, in the village of Barlovento, with an unbeatable panoramic views surrounded by the wonderful Laurisilva forest. Nearby On the sheer Northern coast lies the protected natural pools of La Fajana de Barlovento with clear, clear water. From here there is a beautiful view of the entire Northern coast from Juan Adalid to the horizon, where in the evenings you can see the sunset. Above these pools in La Gaviota restaurant with its large terrace one eat or simply have a coffee and watch the wind and waves below. Those who wish to do more than simply bathe may follow a bath along the coast to the small bay of La Lajita and enjoy the natural beauty of the small cove. Barlovento Football Ground, you will find us near one of the best natural grassed football grounds on the Island, two minutes from the hotel, integrated with the natural greenery. Here is where the footballers from the town come and play, but it is best known for being the pre-season training ground for C.D. Tenerife, U.D. Las Palmas, Vecindario and U.D. Fuerteventura football clubs. La Laguna Park, this is the pride of the people from Barlovento, formed in a natural crater, where you will find the biggest natural water reserve of La Palma, surrounded by the typical northern nature and seagulls and plenty more different types of birds. In these surroundings there are also lots of natural paths and walkways where you can walk and enjoy the scenery and nature and will find a wide variety of Canarian plants, grassed areas for games and camping sites. There are also little huts with barbecues where you can prepare a picnic and enjoy a pleasant few hours alone or in the company of others. There is also a small children´s play park, a small lake with ducks and swans and a restaurant which is always pleased to welcome you. Fantastic Walks, here is one of the last places where one can enjoy dragon trees, which is not just a tree but also a herbal plant. These trees live up to a thousand years. Here there are also walking trails where one enjoys the sheer nature and beautiful views of the Northern coast. We provide our clients with a step by step walking guide of these trails. We typical Canarian picnic with gofio, goat´s cheese and local fruits.

How to get to the hotel: this newly built hotel is in the housing estate called Lomas de Badaguas, on the N-330 road between Sabiñánigo and Jaca. At kilometre 639 on the N-330, you will see a turn-off signposted to Badaguas, Leres and Gracionepel. Take that turn-off, stay on it, and at the end, around 2.5 kilometres along, you will find the “Urbanización Lomas de Badaguas” housing estate.

The 5***** G.L.
